Biography of Filippa DISPENZA CATALANO of 1741

Filippa Dispenza was born about 1741 to unknown parents, probably in Valledolmo, Sicilia. The Dispenza family had been residing in Valledolmo for many years before her birth.

Filippa Dispenza married Michele Catalano, who was also born about 1741 and should appear on the 1748 Revili Census of Valledolmo as a child. They had at least one child:

• Antonina Catalino, born 1767, who married Antonino Muscato in 1832 when Antonina was 56 years old and her husband was 55 years old. This is likely a second marriage for both parties.

Filippa Dispenza may be the namesake of Filippa Dispenza born about 1781, and may be an aunt of Filippa Dispenza

Filippa Dispenza may have passed away before 1781, but definitely passed away before 1832.

Her parents are the deceased Michele CATALANO and his deceased wife Filippa Dispenza, both deceased by 1832, but born about 1741. Both bride and groom were widowed, but names of former spouses are not available.
