Biography

Charles M. Distler [1] [2] was born on 14 November 1870 in O'Fallon, St. Clair County, Illinois [2], or possibly on 14 November 1869 [1].

He was the son of John Distler and Sarah Powell. [1][2]

Charles was enumerated as a son of John Distler in the census on 1 June 1880 in O'Fallon, St. Clair County, Illinois as a son named Charles, age 11, born in IL. [1]

Charles married, first, Cecilia Guetterman, on 20 July 1893 in St. Clair County, Illinois..
There may have been one child resulting from this union. [3]

Charles married, second, Mabel Parker on 16 October 1913 in St. Louis City, Missouri.
It is not known at this time if they had any children together.

Charles died at the age of 71 on 19 December 1941 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, St. Clair County, Illinois. [2]
He was buried in Shiloh Valley Township Cemetery, Shiloh, St. Clair County, Illinois. [2]
