Frank Ditta is born 16 October 1873 in Corleone, the son of Vito (Willie) Ditta and Marianna Trumbatore.[1] He is baptized the same day. His godparents are Maestro Rosario Nicolosi and Liboria Ajosi, a married couple.[2]
Frank marries Salvatrice "Sarah" Mancuso, also a native of Corleone, in Bryan, Texas, on 30 November 1901.[3]
Frank, 36, and Savatora Ditto’s household in 1910. They immigrated in 1898. Vito is the oldest, age 7, born in Texas. Frank is a retail grocer.[4]
Frank Ditta of 2302 Broadway, Houston, TX, registers for the draft for WWI. He is 45, born 16 October 1873. He is a self employed merchant and a naturalized citizen.His wife is Salvatore Magusa Ditta.[5]
Frank Ditta Sr. dies on 29 July 1950 in Houston. Frank died from carcinoma of the prostate that had metastasized to his bones. Address 2216 Hadley, Houston, TX. He is buried in the Garden of Gethsemani in Houston on 31 July.[1]
