"Sämtliche vorgenannte 3 Geschwister reisten im ledigen Stande von hier ab, und zwar in den Jahren 1853 bis 1856. Jedes hat einige Hundert Gulden Vermögen mitgenommen. Gottlieb Dittus hat seine Militärpflicht erfüllt durch 6jährigen Dienst von 1850 bis 1856..." (GR-Prot. vom 26.10.1863) Bürgerrechts-Verzicht und Generalvollmacht wurden unterzeichnet in Pleasant Valley/ Ohio, den 30.7.1863 durch Gottlieb Dittus, Anna Barbara Kümmerle geb. Dittus, deren Ehemann Friedrich Kümmerle, und Anna Maria Dörrer geb. Dittus und beurkundet durch 2 Zeugen: George Dörrer (vermutl. Ehemann der Anna Maria) und Jacob Friedrich Hauser. [2]
