Biography

Clarissa, the daughter of Moses Dix and Cynthia (Read) Dix, was born on 12 Nov 1814 in Whitingham, Windham, Vermont.^[1] She married Osmyn Preston on 17 Dec 1835 in Whitingham.^[2] The couple had one child, Cynthia Preston. Clarissa passed away at age 24 in Whitingham on 2 Nov 1838, the same year Cynthia was born.^[3]
