Biography

Joseph and Eliza made their home on a farm near Lovington and resided there until March, 1898, when they moved to Sullivan County, Indiana, and located south of New Lebanon. In December, 1904 the family moved to their present home, one and a quarter miles southwest of New Lebanon, Ind.

Mr. Dixon was energetic in business, being one of the pioneers in the small fruit and melon industry of Gill Township and was always interested in the achievements in agriculture.
