Biography

Margaret was born about 1914. She was the daughter of John Prescott Dixon and Gertrude Colpitts. She passed away about 1918. She passed away about 1918. Margaret and her sister Joan both died due to Diphtheria within days of each other in 1918. They are buried together in a paupers grave in Southern Cemetery, Chorlton, Manchester. Grave number 1111 near their parents.

Research note

There is a Margaret Gertrude Dixon who died in Prestwich in quarter 4 of 1918 but her sister Joan's death was registered in Chorlton is this the correct child? [1]

I think that you've found the correct death registrations - both are in Manchester area, it's a bit surprising they're in different districts but maybe they died in different places, like one in hospital and the other at home, or in two different hospitals. I can't see any other death registrations that could be theirs.
