Lucy Dixon married Thomas Hollis, marrying in Wayne County, Tennessee on February 13, 1878[3] and having two children together. Lucy and her husband farmed alongside members of her husband's family, in Wayne County.[4] She passed away at the age of 26.[citation needed]
