George Dixon was ye Son of William and Ann Dixson of Christiana Hundred in ye County of New Castle on Delaware, he was born ye: 16 of ye llth mo., 1706. He married Ann ye Daughter of Swithin & Ann Chandler ye 29th of ye llth mo., 1725, by whom he had ye following Issue (viz.)

Ann wife of George Dixson d 3 mo 14 1761 aged about 52 years Kennett Mo Mtg Records. AMC [1][2] George Dixon was ye son of William and Ann Dixon of Christiana Hundred in ye county of New Castle in Delaware, he was born 16th day of 11 mo 1706.

Removed to North Carolina at same time as Simon Dixon, his nephew, son of Thomas Dixon and Hannah Hadley, and settled in Chatham County near Siler City.

Married 29 DEC 1725. Newark Friends Meeting, New Castle County, Province of Pennsylvania Lower Counties (Present Delaware), (Present USA). Age: 19.
