Need to resolve birth date discrepancy:

Jesse was born about 1781. Jesse is the child of Jesse Dixon and Lydia Winters. [1]

Jesse was born about 1779. He was the son of Jesse Dixon and Lydia Winters. He passed away before 1835.[2]

Born about 1780 in Chatham County, North Carolina, Jesse was the son of Jesse Dixon and Lydia Winter. He married Ruth Rains, daughter of Lawrence Rains and Ann McManus, around 1803 in Ross County, Ohio. He died about 1836 in Jackson County, Indiana.[3]
