Mahala was born in 1800. She was the daughter of Jesse Dixon and Lydia Winters. [1]

Per the book "Vinton County, Ohio History and Families" Mahala married Moses Ray on July 4, 1816 in Ross County, Ohio. All their children were born there. They later moved to Missouri and she died in 1830. She is buried in Deepwater, Missouri. [2]

Mahala Dixon - b. 18 Feb 1800 in Chatham County, North Carolina; d. abt 1830 in Jackson County, Missouri; m. 4 Jul 1816 in Ross County, Ohio, to Moses Ray (son of Thomas Ray and Charity Teague). Six children. [3]


She passed away about 1840.[4]

Mehalah was born about 1789. Mehalah is the child of Jesse Dixon and Lydia Winters. [5]
