John Dobbins was born before 1766 in Rowan County, North Carolina. He is the son of Alexander Dobbins and Jean Templeton.[1]
John, Alexander and James Dobbins were three pioneer settlers of Rowan County, North Carolina. Each was born around 1715. Two wrote Rowan County, North Carolina wills and one wrote an Iredell County, North Carolina will and each had a son named John Dobbins.
John Dobbins appears to have sold his property on 8 September, 1804 and moved out of state.
