Biography

When George Washington Dobbins was born on April 2, 1850, in Paulding, Georgia, his father, William, was 60 and his mother, Eliza, was 25.[1] He married Charlotte Chelsie Sara Morgan anin 1868 and they had 9 children, only four living in 1910.[2] He then married Mrs. Joseph 'Josie' Angeline (Tucker) Smith on September 27, 1924, in Etowah, Alabama.[3] He died on February 16, 1937, in Boaz, Alabama,[4] at the age of 86, and was buried there.[5]
