Biography
Roy Alonzo Dobbs was born on February 20, 1920, in Wayne, Kentucky, his father, Joseph, was 20 and his mother, Louverna, was 16. He had two daughters with Dortha Martin between 1942 and 1955. He died on May 30, 1975, in New Castle, Indiana, at the age of 55, and was buried there.
