Biography

Silas was born about 1770 in North Carolina, the son of Fortunatus Dobbs and Mary Adams. He married Charlotte Whitehurst, [her last name at birth has been incorrectly entered on her profile]; they had six known children. Silas passed away about 1855 and was buried at Liberty Cemetery, Antioch, Cass County, Texas.
