Hello Ralph,

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Participation in a project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Be sure to also check out our Volunteer Hub [1] to see our projects that really need new members!

Let me know, and I can help you figure out if there's a project that might interest you. Welcome aboard, we are glad to have you!

Hello Christopher, I've proposed a merge with the Phineas John Adams profile you have created and a profile that already existed on Wikitree. The dates you have entered are slightly different but because there are no sources it is difficult to tell how exact they are. If these profiles are duplicates then their respective wives will also need to be merged, and possibly other related profiles as well.

Hi!

Just checking in with a few quick tips:

Free Space pages are wiki pages for supplementing your family history. They can be used to profile anything of significance such as a special pet, a meaningful event, a school you attended, a family heirloom .... They're "anything pages".

Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, please ask!

Hi Christopher,

A warm welcome to the WikiTree family! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site you’ve ever used and it is FREE. WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? When you confirm your email address, you’ll have an opportunity to volunteer and tell us about your genealogical interests.

Once you volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership, and you’ll be on your way!

We’re really glad you’re here. More importantly, have fun growing your family tree and connecting to persons with the same interest.

Ludwig :)
