Obituary PALMER, FREDA The passing of Freda Palmer of Taymouth, NB, wife of Lawrence Palmer occurred on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 17, 1926 in Mount Eagle, NB, she was the daughter of the late John and Jessie (Lewis) Dobson. Freda was a member of the Devon Park Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her husband, Lawrence, Freda is survived by her daughters, Shirley (Neil) Collins of Worchester, Massachusetts and her two children, G. Jean Palmer of Anchorage, Alaska, Joan Rock and her two children of Hampden, Maine; sons, Melvin Palmer and his three children of Dorchester, Massachusetts, Richard (Brenda) Palmer their two children of Readfield, Maine and John Palmer and his two children of Augusta, Maine; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sisters, Viola Lutes of Moncton, NB, Stella (Freeman) Lewis of Mount Eagle, NB; brother, Kenneth (Mavis) Dobson of Taymouth, NB and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Eva, Edith and Shirley; brothers, George, Rosco, Paul and James.
