Hazel was born on 26 October 1902 in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan. She was the daughter of Fredrick Irving Dobson and Clara Maud McCarron.^[1]

She was baptised (age 2) 16 July 1905 in the Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Detroit, Wayne, Michigan.

In the 1910 census Hazel (age 7) was living in Detroit Ward 14, Wayne, Michigan. Age: 7; Marital Status: Single; Relation to Head of House: Daughter.^[2]

In the 1920 census Hazel (age 17) was living in Detroit Ward 14, Wayne, Michigan.^[3]

Hazel died 14 Jul 1996 and was buried after 14 July 1996 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. Grand Lawn Cemetery with parents and sister, Lutrelle.^[4]
