Biography

Annie was born in 1882^[1] in Bellasize, Yorkshire, England, and was baptised nearby in Eastrington. She was the daughter of John Dobson and Louisa Waterhouse;^[2] the family lived in Bellasize in 1891.^[3]

At the time of the 1901 census Annie worked as a domestic servant for Rebecca Jane Coates in Wetherby, Yorkshire.^[4]
