William appeared in the 1851 census at Church Street, South Hylton, Ford, Bishopwearmouth, Sunderland.[2] He appeared in the 1861 census at Etherley Lane, Escomb.[3]
He appeared in the 1871 census at 92, Wilson Street, Middlesbrough.[4] He appeared in the 1881 census at Clarendon Hotel, High Street, Marske by the Sea.[5]
William appeared in the 1891 census at Lord Byron, Bridge Street East, Middlesbrough.[6] He appeared in the 1901 census at 59, Wood Street, Eston.[7]
He appeared in the 1911 census at Middlesbrough Union Workhouse, Cemetery Road, Middlesbrough.[8]
William died in December Quarter 1920 in Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England, at the age of 73.[1]
