Robert Frank Dodd was my paternal granfather and lived with my grandmother, Audrey, in Dean Dale, TX. They had eight children, 4 sons and 4 daughters; my father, John Shelby was the youngest son in family. Robert Frank was a carpenter by trade and built houses in the Wichita Falls area. He suffered a fatal heart attack while roofing a home. I have a Winchester Model 1892 rifle handed down that my grandfather traded for a Model A car radiator in the early 1900's as the story goes!
