Genealogy of the Daniel Dodd Family
Stephen Dodd, was born Mar. 24, 1767; died Sept. 20, 1827. He married, May 1794, Orley Light, daughter of Lodowick Light, one of the first settlers of Sus- quehanna; born Oct. 22, 1772; died May 16, 1843.
CHILDREN: i. Sally, b. June 30, 1795; d. Sept. 1857; m. 1819, Benjamin Lewis. ii. Amzi, b. Jan. 31, 1796; d. Oct. 9, 1815; drowned in the Susque- hanna.
iii. Lewis, b. Nov. 9, 1798; d. June 12, 1845.+ iv. Phebe, b. Nov. 19, 1800; m. about 1820, Hubbard Thurston and had
eight children: Maria, Amy, Anna, Orley, Sarah, Henry, Harrison and Wesley. They lived in Illinois. v. Isaac, b. Oct. 4, 1802; d. Apr. 1, 1870.+ vi. Polly, b. Nov. 21, 1804; m. about 1826, Hartwell Thurston, brother of Phebe's husband. They lived at Wyoming, Wyoming Co. vii. Amy, b. Dec. 5, 1806; m. (1) Beniah Monday Vendamark, and (2) Samuel Lee. Resided at Nichols, Tioga Co., N. Y.
ttephen, b. Mar. 15, 1809; m. about 1836, Loraine Blodgett; had , 2 children; moved West about 1838 and has not since been heard of by his relatives. Some supposed he had gone to California.
Harrison, b. Apr. 21, 1811; d. Feb. 15, 1876.+ Thaddeus Seeley, May 2'6, 1815.+
Charles, b. Feb. 14, 1818; d. Apr. 18, 1826.
