John E Dodd was born on 3 Oct 1944, son of Rev Thomas Calloway Dodd (1909 - 1977) and Blanche (Eustice) Dodd (1910 - 1993).

Johnny was an Army veteran and a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. He was survived by his son Brian. Johnny was a sociable guy with a good sense of humor. He had a good voice and liked to sing and play the guitar. Like many of the Dodds I've known Johnny had a drinking problem and he ultimately died from liver damage.
