I’ve not heard back from you regarding the US Southern Colonies Project check-in so have gone ahead and removed you from the project for now. However, if you’d like to rejoin at any stage you would be most welcome to do so by answering the G2G sign-up post here.
Many thanks,
Mary~ Project Coordinator, Membership, US Southern Colonies

I sent you a check-in message a week ago about the US Southern Colonies Project to ask you about your continued involvement but have not yet heard back from you. Do you still want to be in the Southern Colonies project? If I don’t hear from you by the same time next week I’ll assume that you’ve moved on to other things but you’re most welcome to re-join the project at any time.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Best wishes,
Mary~ Project Coordinator, Membership, US Southern Colonies

This is the semi-annual polling for the US Southern Colonies Project check-in with members to see if you have been active in the last six months in this project?
Please note that it is a requirement for membership in the US Southern Colonies Project that you respond to these check-ins.
I look forward to hearing from you.. Many thanks,
Mary, Membership Coordinator, US Southern Colonies Project
Thank you for reply ing to the check-in. I checked your contributions/activity. Most of what you have entered was post-1776 such as in the 1800's or 1900's.
Southern Colonies covers the southern Colonies (Maryland, Virginia, Carolinas, and Georgia Before 1776.
In light of your response, and activities, I will have the leader remove your badge for this project. (That is the real purpose of this check in). If you change your mind, please reply again very soon.

Here is a profile you worked on today (this would be for the next 6 months) which barely falls into Southern Colonies range. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Dodd-6690 Do you have others that have a source that you worked on in December, November, Oct, etc. that preceed 1776 and were born, lived or died in the Southern Colonies? Then you can point them out, and continue as a member???
Thanks
Mary

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines laid out on that page.
Kind regards,
Pippin Sheppard – WikiTree Greeter
As you have been a member of WikiTree for a few weeks now, I thought I would check in to see how you are getting on with the site.
Has the New Member How-To been helpful, or left you with any questions?
We have a research tool that makes finding reliable sources easier. I use it all the time and it helps me remember different places to check. To give it a try, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research, scroll down near the bottom of that list, and select Research with RootsSearch (use your WikiTree email & password). There are over 20 websites to access from there. You can read more about the tool in the RootSearch FAQ.
I am here to help with any problems or queries you may have. To contact me, log into WikiTree, and go to your profile. Use the ‘Reply’ link below my comment so that I will be notified. Alternatively, you can click my name to visit my profile, where you can send a private message, or post a comment on my profile page.

Thank you for upgrading. I am pleased to welcome you as a member of the WikiTree family. Your contributions will go a long way to joining the world’s trees together.
I would suggest starting with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration.
Please add as much information as you can, with sources, as it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do.
Thank you for adding your DNA to WikiTree. Getting the Best from DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.
Have fun collaborating on your ancestors
