William Henry Dodd was first enrolled at Tullaghan National School in County Leitrim; later enrolled in 1897 at Lissadell National School; where his home is recorded as Crushmore Lodge; his father as a member of the Royal Irish Constabulary. He left school in 1899 aged 16 years. [2]
He was living with his mother in 1901, in Ballygilgan, Lissadill East, County Sligo [3]
