William was born about 1894 and died in 1961 in Glen Osmond. ^[1]

The following has been gathered about William Hainsworth Dodd, but it is not certain if it is this individual.

In 1921, he is recorded as giving evidence to a court as a witness of the murder of another while working at the Mannum Dockyard. ^[2] He was working as a shipwright. ^[3]

In February 1927, he was before the courts as insolvent working as a mail contractor. ^[4]

In 1947, there is a court case between a marine engineer and a mail contractor ^[5]
