James E. Dodd wed Beulah Birch December 23, 1894 in Fulton County, Georgia.^[2]

He was noted as a farmer and born May 1873 in Georgia. He had been married for six years and was an owner. Also included in the household are wife Eula Dodd, son Warren Dodd, daughter Eva Dodd, son Ramon Dodd and servant William Knox as seen in an image of the original census.^[3]
