Born In South Australia, my fathers family in NSW and my mothers family in WA, we soon moved to WA . My father has been working in the Northern Territory most of my life when my mother passed away when I was young.
I went to live in the territory with my father for a bit then back to WA/SA to live with my siblings then to NSW to live with an aunt. That did not last too long, I was off back to outback WA then once again off to The NT. I finished my schooling there, started my working life then moved back to WA once again. Having a child I felt it was time for a change and headed back to SA. My father died in 2005, 2009 I had my second and last child. and here I am today...
I have evidence That my great great grandfather and his father were convicts on the ship The Minden which landed in Fremantle.

I just thought I would touch base. My name is David Lowe, and I believe that we might be 4th cousins! i.e. we are both descended from Thomas Low of Redgorton, you via his daughter Maria, and me via his son Charles. (Charles Miller Low emigrated to Australia from Redgorton in the 1850's, changing his name to Lowe in the process). I've been tracing my tree for a while, including the Redgorton / Downhill connections - but only recently started looking at putting my records onto WikiTree. I do have some interesting records around Thomas and his family - including his work as a blacksmith in a house that is still standing. I'f be keen to share anything that might be of mutual interest. All the best, David
