Research Notes

This is a Dodge Dodge marriage

On Pg. 91 in JTD book this name is spelled Frances. On his headstone the name is spelled Francis. The headstone is in a neighborhood cemetery in New Boston on the Colburn Road Called the Colburn Balch Yard. The date on his headstone is 19 November 1846, died at age 85. This seems to be four years in error from the the records held by the Dodge Family. Vital Records in Concord, New Hampshire state he died age 81years not age 85.

Francis was baptized 17 May 1767. This is possible but I think it is more likely a typo and the year should be 1765

According to the book "History of Francestown, New Hampshure" 1891: Francis and his wife removed from Beverly to New Boston soon after their marriage, here they had children.
