Jackson Andrew "Jack" Dodge was born on 27 Oct 1861 in Springbrook, Dunn County, Wisconsin, USA. He was the son of Harrison Dodge and Martha Woodbridge Webb.
He married Climena Stephens on 11 Jan 1891 in Spring Brook, Wisconsin. In 1896 he took over management of the family farm "Lyndale Stock Farms". In 1902 after the death of his father he became owner.
Jack Sr. kept shorthorn cattle and became one of the most prominent dairy farmers in Spring Brook township. He continued improving the farm, building a full basement barn and putting running water into the house and barn. He also served as treasurer of the school district for 6 years.
In 1921 he bought a house at 1103 Sixth Street in Menomonie, and turned the farm over to his son, Jack Jr. in 1924.
He passed away on 3 Jan 1935 in Springbrook, Dunn County, Wisconsin, USA. [1]
