He was living with his parents and sister in Little Falls, Monroe, Wisconsin in 1860.[1] In 1870, he was in the household of his uncle Edwin Dodgson in Sparta, Monroe, Wisconsin.[2]
He married Martha Elzina "Matie" Wells on 30 Mar 1892 in Estherville, Emmet, Iowa.[3] They had children.
