Samuel Dodson was born about 1775 in Pittsylvania county, Virginia. Samuel was the son of Thomas Dodson and Mary Neville.
Samuel Dodson was a physican based on the inventory of his estate. Inaddition to the usual household furniture the following items related to Samuel's medical practice were included in the inventory: " . . . One lot medical book 29 in lot . . . one lot of pamphlets . . . one lot of medicine . . ."
Samuel Dodson died sometime during 1837, in Hickman County, Kentucky. Samuel's estate records do not mention a spouse, children or heirs. Benjamin Flint was the administrator of Samuel's estate.
