Biography
Mary Dodson was born about 1808 in Virginia, possibly Pittsylvania county, Virginia. Mary, who was also known as "Polly", was the daughter of George Dodson and Martha Lockhart.
Mary married Elijah Dickerson on the the 8th of May, 1830 in Hendricks county, Indiana. Mary's father, George Dodson officiated at the marriage ceremony.[1]
Mary's exact date of death is unknown, but it is likely she died before 1837, as her husband Elijah Dickerson married his second wife Olive Clark on the 10th of January 1837 in Boone county, Indiana.[2]
Mary is believed to be buried in Eagle Creek cemetery in Boone county, Indiana.

Dodson-5499 and Dodson-4335 appear to represent the same person because: Both women have the same name of Mary and the same father. Both women are born in the same year. Mary Dodson-4335 has no biography and no sources. Mary Dodson-5499 has a biography and multiple sources which need to be kept after the merge. These women are the same and should be merged to eliminate duplicate profiles.
