Biography
Sidney was born about 1823 in White Co., Tennessee. She was the daughter of Jesse Dodson and Sarah Yates.
In February, 1849 she married Moses Josiah Prater. On the 1850 census, Moses and Malinda were living beside Moses's parents and had a six-month-old infant, Elizabeth. They went on to have a dozen children.
Sydney Malinda died in 1876. Moses died in 1892. They were buried at Graveyard Ridge Cemetery, Van Buren, Tn.
