Hi Sharon,

The Australia Project leadership team are carrying out a check-in to see how you are going in the project and especially to thank you for all your work on Australian profiles on WikiTree. We really value your participation.

Please could you get back to me by private message to let me know if you are happy with your current role and team involvement within the project or if you would like to do something additional or different. Currently you are on the South Australia team. If you would like a change, you can check on the Australia Project page to see what other options there are.

It would also be great to hear any feedback and any suggestions that you have to improve the project. On a practical note, if you are a member of the google group, are you receiving messages ok? Also do you have Australia as one of the tags you are following on the G2G? Don't forget to add it in if you don't have that tag yet.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards

Margaret Haining Membership Coordinator

Thankyou Margaret for your email and updates. I have not had much time to update and or confirm sources on information that I have already posted. I will get to it eventually, like most people life tends to get in the way. As to feed back, I have nothing to contribute at this stage.

Again thankyou for your email

Kind regards Sharon

Hi Sharon,

Thank you for responding to the check-in message, and for your ongoing contributions to WikiTree and the Australia Project, they are much appreciated.

As always, within the Australia Project, there is NO requirement to do specific tasks, certain number of contributions or anything like that, just replying to any communications from your team leader, and contributing according to your time and particular interests.

Kind Regards

Margaret Haining Membership Coordinator

Hi Sharon, welcome to the Australia Project. We are delighted you have joined us. If you want to follow posts relevant to Australia on the G2G, please add Australia to your tags. Regards, Gillian.

Hi Sharon, I am currently doing check-ins for the Australia project, and noticed that you are on the South Australia team, but not a member of the Australia Project. Are you still interested in contributing to South Australia? If so, I'll join you up to the Australia Project as well. Thanks for all your wonderful work on WikiTree for Australia. Gillian, co-Leader, Australia Project

Hi Sharon,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.

Add the project tag to your Following list to be kept up to date on any activity that occurs for that project.

Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions! :-)

Hi,

As you have been a member of WikiTree for about a week now I thought I would check in to see how you are getting on with the site.

Has the New Member How-To  been helpful or left you with any questions?

I am here to help with any problems or queries you may have. Just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message.  Sometimes links don't work in emails.  If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

Hi Sharon,

A warm welcome to WikiTree. You are now a full member and can add your family to the big tree!

Click here to start with our New Member How-To Pages. They will save you time, energy and frustration as you add your family profiles.

Hope you enjoy WikiTree as much as I have. You never know when you will find a lost family member or ancestor. Or maybe find a hidden family secret about an ancestor. Genealogy to me is like being a detective looking for clues into the past.

Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile as the links will work from there.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm always happy to help!

Hi Sharon,

I wanted to suggest that you edit your tag(s) to show any surnames you are researching.

When you list a surname, location or historical event in your tags, you can then click them and see a list of other WikiTree genealogists who are also researching those names, locations, etc.

You'll also get notifications in your daily & weekly emails when there is activity relevant to your tags.

Information on Tags can be found at http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tags

This Link will auto-populate your tag page. http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Following

Have a look at my profile page by clicking my name above to see what tags and tag comments look like.

Please let me know if you have any questions! :-)
