Ena was born at Nelson Place, Williamstown on the 10 Mar 1907. She was the third child of William Doherty and Margaret McLaughlin.[1]
On the 3 Dec 1927 she married Frank Butcher.[2] They had no children. [3] Her husband Flt Lieut. F.J. Butcher was killed in a training accident in 1945. [4]
She died 15 Dec 1982 at the age of 75 at Camberwell in Melbourne.[5]
