Born and raised in Chicago, I am a typical mostly Polish American mutt. My maternal grandparents are second (England) and third (Poland) generation Americans. I know virtually nothing about my paternal family.

I have been a member of Ancestry.com for years but have finally hit a wall in my research.

Welcome Debra!

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. We are building one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person.

It is important to check for duplicates as you add any Profiles to WikiTree. Instead of making another profile of the same person, we add our sources to profiles which match ours and are already on WikiTree.

See How to Use WikiTree to be quickly oriented.

Our list of Projects offers unique ways to participate in WikiTree.

Visit our G2G Forum for answers to questions like this one: How do you find sources?

Thank you for joining us in building our shared tree.

I hope to learn a great deal from, and contribute as much as possible to, this community.
