Sarah (Donahoo) Hoge (1 December 1843 - 19 May 1911)[1]
Obituary from "The Waynesburg Republican," Thursday, May 25, 1911[2]
"Mrs. Sarah Hoge died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Asa McClelland, North West Street, Friday evening, May 19, aged 68 years, after an illness of nearly a year, from tuberculosis. Mrs. Hoge was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and was highly esteemed. She was a daughter of William and Nancy Donahoo and was raised in Waynesburg, but later resided at Oak Forest, this county. One daughter, Mrs. W. P. Ely, of Waynesburg, and two sisters, Mrs. McClelland and Mrs. Caroline Hunnell, of Waynesburg, survive. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Appleton Bash, assisted by the Rev. A. S. Kelley. Interment in the Oakmont Cemetery."
