Biography
Mary Ann was born in 1882. She passed away in 1916. [1]
FindAGrave Biography: “ Mary Ann was married in 1899 to Oswald Clazey, Sunderland, England. She and her sons arrived in May 1910 and they moved to Staten Island where her husband Oswald was. Two sons: Archibald Donaldson Clazey and Oswald Clazey. A third brother, George Oswald Clazey died in 1906. Oswald's grandfather, George Oswald Clazey, left England in 1841 for Mt. Carmel, Putnam County, NY. Oswald's father, James Oswald Clazey returned to Durham and became a schoolmaster. Mary Ann's father was Archibald Harper Donaldson, shipbuilder, Southwick, Durham.”
After her death at 33, Mary Anne’s husband remarried. Mary Ann is buried at Moravian Cemetery, New Drop, New York. Two of her sons, Oswald and Archibald; her husband; and his second wife are buried in Pittsford, Monroe, New York. [2]
