Patricia,

WikiTree profiles require sources. It is part of the Honor Code. Note that any source must contain sufficient information so that others can find the source.

All Pre-1700 profiles require Reliable Sources. Projects can provide more details for sources that are reliable for the location/timeframe.

You might find England reliable sources helpful for Haddock-2849 and Italy reliable sources helpful for Unknown-678368

Patricia, Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz! Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, thus coordinating with others is essential.

For your Hale ancestors these should fit: Maryland and earlier ancestors England Projects Click the links to read how to join.

Be sure to add researched sources: Cite Reliable sources

Or use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find a project..

For questions, just ask!

Mary ~ Pre-1700 Greeter

PS If links do not work in a WikiTree email, check on your profile page for this message.

Hello

Thank you for signing the Honor code. Collaboration, accurate information and good sources are the basis for a great WikiTree.

By signing the Honor Code you're telling others you are a responsible Wiki genealogist.

Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions.

Have a nice journey on Wikitree,

Guy - Wikitree Mentor / Leader

Hi!

Our vision is to build a collaborative tree with one profile per person. The farther back you go, it's likely you will find duplicate profiles to link into, so it's a good idea to do a search before you create a new profile.

Do you have Royal Ancestors? If so, they are already here! Please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their already existing profiles.

WikiTree strives to be a fun, collaborative, productive site. It's also different than what many people are used to. Please take advantage of the Help Menu in the upper right hand corner, our G2G Forum and of course, our Mentors :)

Do you have any questions I can help with?

Hi Patricia, Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree.

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.

Everything on WikiTree is a collaborative work in progress so don’t forget to read and sign our Honor Code. This is what keeps WikiTree a friendly and helpful community. We have many friendly members, feel free to ask if you have any questions.

I accidentally came upon this site while trying to explore family history. I was amazed at the info that popped up and found a desire to add/correct some information on my family history. My mother and aunt are not included with other siblings on their family tree.
Hi, Patricia. Thanks for checking out our site.

A few employees and a whole lot of volunteers are working together to create a FREE global family tree with only one profile per person. If you'd like to help us by adding your family branches or help to grow the tree in some other way, please select the volunteer button and leave a statement informing us of your interest in our project.

You're welcome to ask a question at G2G forum.

Our Honor Code helps to keep us friendly. Hope you'll join us. :)
