Biography
Gregorio Donatello was born on November 17, 1892 in San Biagio, Italy.
He married Antonia Valente (born in Germany on Nov 30, 1897) on September 18, 1922.
He and his wife came from Italy to Katarina parish in Stockholm, Sweden on December 4, 1923. They had daughter Vienna b. 1924.[1] Their son Guerrino was born in Brännkyrka parish, Stockholm on December 31, 1924.[2]
In 1940 he was a musician and lived in Stockholm Saint Nikolai parish/Storkyrkoförsamlingen with his wife and son Mario b. 1927, daughter Argentina Rosa Elvira b. 1929, Vienna Genoveva Assunta Donatello b. 10 Jan 1924 and Guerrino Donatello b. 31 Dec 1924.[3]
In 1950 he was a plasterer and in 1960 he was a balloon seller.
Gregorio died on October 24, 1977 in Vantör (AB), Stockholm, Sweden, aged 84.
Research notes
There is a Carmine Donatello born on September 26, 1887 in Italy, San Biagio, Saracinisco Flosinone who died in Stockholm in 1955. Possibly a brother.
Yes, I believe so. They also lived in Brännkyrka and his wife was Maria Valente. Looks like they married sisters or at least women from the same family.
