Peter was born in 1913. He was the son of Ernest Donegan and Linda Innes. When working for the airline he met Margaret Hall in Carnarvon, and they were married on 15 September 1936 in Perth.
He died in an aviation accident in Kathrine, NT, on 18 January 1939,[1] when the aircraft was taking off, clipped the trees at the end of the runway, and crashed in the river. All four people on board drowned. Their ashes were scattered at Parafield in Adelaide.
