Loretta was born on Feb 6, 1842 in Saint John, New Brunswick. She was a daughter of Charles Doney and Mary (Cowan) Doney.[1][2]
She married George Redmond Cody at her home in Washademoak Lake, New Brunswick on July 7, 1864.[3]
Loretta passed away on January 25, 1921 in Saint John at the age of 78 of Colon Cancer. She was interred at the Highfield Cemetery in Highfield, New Brunswick[4][5]
