Biography
Samuel was born on May 30, 1829 in Lascassas, Tennessee. His parents were Robert Smith Donnell and Anne Elizabeth McAdoo. On Feb.16, 1857, he took Sarah Francis McAdoo as his wife and they raised four children. Samuel died at the early age of fifty-nine on Sept. 9, 1885.
