Lupek – Jane L., “Moosie”, 81, East Taylor Township, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on December 14, 2014 at Amber Hills at Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg. Born on October 27, 1933 in Johnstown, daughter of Borgia and Jane (Wagner) Donnelly. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald J., “Duck” Lupek on November 28, 2014; brothers, Richard, William and Patrick Donnelly and sister-in-law, Barbara Donnelly. She is survived by her loving children, David A., married to the former Janet Kostro, Shelby Township, MI, Deborah L., wife of Mark Bobrowicz, Knoxville, TN, and Jean M., wife of Frank Krawcion, Vinco; grandchildren, Ashley, Amy, Jessica, Megan, Jordan, and Jacob; great grandchildren, Jasmine, Kassie, Kaitlin, and Jaelyn; MI; sister, Peggy, wife of Gene Stralko, Shelby Township, MI; sister-in-law, Dorothy Donnelly, Shelby Township and several nieces and nephews. Jane was a graduate of Conemaugh High School. She was a meat wrapper at various grocery stores in the area, including, the former ACME and Riverside Markets. Jane was a member of the Church of the Transfiguration; East Conemaugh Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a former Judge of Elections for East Taylor Township and the Democratic Ladies Club, East Conemaugh. Jane was an avid duck pin bowler; BINGO player and Steeler fan. She loved playing cards and board games with her grandchildren and spending time with her family. Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, where Vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Church of the Transfiguration, Fr. Robert C. Hall, Pastor. Private burial will be at Grandview Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to a charity of one’s choice in memory of Jane.^[1]
