Biography
Thomas was born in 1860. He was the son of Henry Donnelly. He passed away in 1941.
The death occurred on Thursday,. 19th inst., at his residence, George-street, Bath- urst, of Mr. Thomas Donnelly, aged 83 years. He was one of the oldest residents of the district and one of the most widely known. Deceased was the last surviving of nine brothers. In the coaching days Donnelly Bros, were amongst the most pro- , minent drivers in the west. With the de- parture of the horse the firm went into the motor business. Deceased is survived by his widow, two sisters, Mrs. J. Crossley (Sofala) and Miss E. Donnelly (Bathurst). Interment took place in the Catholic por- tion of the Bathurst Cemetery. Rev. Father Shannon read the prayers at the church and graveside.— R.I.P.[1]
