Biography

Sophia was born on 2 November 1808 in Truro. Cornwall.^[1] Her parents were Isaac and Elizabeth (Silvester) Donnithorne. Sophia was christened on 25 November 1808 at Truro St Mary, Cornwall, England.^[2]Sophia married John Thompson on 2 May 1837 in Fetcham, Surrey, England.^[3]According to the 1851 Census, Sophia was living with her husband, five school age children and mother in Bookham, Surrey, England.^[4] Their children included:
