Ellen Emily Donovan (married name McCormack) was born in 1887 in Sale, Victoria, Australia, daughter of Mary Agnes (Johnston) Donovan and Martin Donovan.^{[citation needed]}

She married George McCormack in 1915 in Victoria.^[1]

Ellen died on 8 January 1969 in Sale, aged 81 years.^[2] Her remains were buried in Euroa, Victoria.^{[citation needed]}

Probate was granted on 4 August 1969.^[3]
