Biography
George Hamilton Doolittle b 13 Dec 1830 (per death certificate; see below).
He married 26 March 1863 in her hometown of Greenwich, NY, Sarah Ann Shepherd.[1]
- She was b 4 Jan 1841 NY, daughter of Franklin Shepherd and Emily Barber both of NY. Sarah died a widow of cerebral convulsion on 5 Feb 1915 and was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Winchester, NH.[2]

- Ella or Ettie E, b 23 Sep 1865; d 22 Sep 1872
- Elnora, b 1 Aug 1867; may be the Ella, age 12, in 1880 census with her parents.
- Frankie (male), b 16 May 1873; not in 1880 census
- Leon George (or George L), b 18 Dec 1875; m 15 Dec 1895 in Winchester Ellena? E. Foster, b abt 1878; in 1880 census with sister and parents.
George died 12 July 1908 in Winchester due to "delitation of heart; intestinal nephritis". He is buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Winchester.[3]
