Mary was the daughter of Thomas Doolittle and Mary Kirkman. She was baptised at St Alphage, London Wall, London on 3 Jan 1654. [1]
On 30 Mar 1676, Mary married Joseph Sheafe at All Hallows London Wall. [2] Mary and Joseph had at least four children:

- Mary
Mary had her will drawn up on 30 Nov 1726. She described herself as Mary Sheafe, widow, of Mugwell St, London. She made bequests to:

- my grandson Harman, eldest son of Samuel
- my other four grandchildren, younger children of Samuel
- my son Samuel
